Male Emotions
As a man, I have always been taught to be strong and emotionless. From a young age, I was told that "boys don't cry" and that I needed to be tough in order to survive in this world. But as I grew older, I began to realize that this mindset was not only harmful, but it was also completely untrue. I started to understand that men are just as capable of experiencing a wide range of emotions as women are. We are not robots, programmed to only feel one way or the other. We are human beings with complex inner lives, capable of feeling happiness, sadness, anger, fear, love, and everything in between. It wasn't easy to come to this realization. It required a lot of self-reflection and the willingness to be vulnerable. I had to acknowledge my own emotions and learn how to express them in a healthy way.
